鈥淗onoring the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.鈥檚 life and work each year is an important event in the life of 糖心vlog官网,鈥 says Benfield-Vick Chaplain, Dr. Franklin Tanner Capps.聽 鈥淥ur rootedness in the American liberal arts tradition and in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) 鈥 two institutions committed to forming lives around the values of faith, justice, and love 鈥 mean that we share in his hope for realizing 鈥榯he beloved community.鈥櫬 Given that King鈥檚 work grew out of the church, it鈥檚 appropriate that we gather to worship on a day set aside for reflecting on his enduring legacy while also challenging ourselves to advance his vision of love and justice through education and service.鈥
